Kayak Clinic: Kitty Hawk Kites, Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (Back to Calendar)

Seaside Vacations guests have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary kayak demo on the Manteo waterfront. The demonstration will include a brief instruction on land followed by a short kayak tour on the sound in Manteo.

Reservation Information:

• Reservations are required for each Club Seaside event
• All events have limited availability
• Reservations taken on a first come, first serve basis
• Early reservations, prior to arrival, are recommended
• Reservations must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance
• Guests must provide lease holder's name and house number when making a reservation

Kitty Hawk Kites, Inc. was founded in 1974 by John Harris, a pioneer in hang gliding, to provide instruction, products, and service to the burgeoning new sport. In the late 1980s, Kitty Hawk Kites expanded into what is now it's three main businesses; providing hang gliding instruction to students and instructors through it's Flight School; selling aviation and outdoor clothing as well as kites and toys through it's retail outlets; and providing adventure recreation activities.

Kitty Hawk Kites has been a leader in outdoor recreation on the Outer Banks for more than thirty years. They offer many recreational activities - including Dune Hang Gliding Lessons, Kiteboarding, Tandem Hang Gliding, Ultralight Hang Gliding Instruction, guided Kayak Eco-Tours, Parasailing, Rock Wall Climbing, Dolphin Jet Boat Tours, Aero Tours, Surfing, Wakeboarding and Water Skiing.

They are proud to offer the largest selection of kayak locations on the Outer Banks. Their destination variety extends from Corolla to Ocracoke and they offer a variety of tours to meet all interests - including Ecology and Natural History Tours, Pirate Tours and Specialized Skills Instruction.
