Adjacent to the boardwalk is the Duck Town Park, a beautiful 11-acre park featuring trails, a playground, picnic shelters, and an amphitheater that hosts concerts and events throughout the year. The park is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along.
Wander Through Nature Trails
You'll find 10 boardwalk accesses located through the park, spanning from Scarborough Ln. to Cook Dr. There are also designated lookout points as well as picnic shelters and crabbing/fishing areas for your convenience! There are more than a quarter of a mile of nature trails throughout the park that have been thoughtfully constructed of crushed bluestone. Many of these trails are surrounded by large Carolina willow and red maple trees, offering a delightful shaded area as you enjoy the breezes coming up off the sound.
Fun for All Ages at the Kids Play Park
Are you looking for something that the kids can do during your vacation? Head to the playground in Duck Town Park. The playground is ideally designed for children 5-12 and boasts a climbing wall, slide, and "the Xcelerator!"
