Celebrate the Holidays Together

Keep the holiday spirit going after the annual Christmas Tree Lighting the night before with the Annual Christmas Parade in Manteo! This year, the parade takes place on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:30AM. Get ready to see floats, marching bands, and of course, the man of the hour himself - Santa! Portions of Budleigh Street and Sir Walter Raleigh Street will be closed for the parade while all of Queen Elizabeth Avenue and Fernando Streets will also be closed. After the parade, spend the day exploring the local shops in Downtown Manteo and grab a bite to eat at one of the delicious local restaurants on the waterfront. The Manteo Downtown Social District houses some of the best restaurants and is tastefully organized to allow for an afternoon of strolling as you enjoy the wind coming off the water!
