When you stay with Seaside Vacations, in a participating home, with a check-in between April 13, 2025 and October 25, 2025, you will receive a $35 per night credit towards beach gear during your stay!*

Your booking will earn you a beach gear credit towards incredible items including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bicycles, tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, beach carts, coolers, corn hole boards and bags, and more! 

Stay 3 or more nights, and receive a beach gear credit of $35 per night.* 

Stay 3 nights and receive a $105 beach gear credit.*
Stay 4 nights and receive a $140 beach gear credit.*
Stay 5 nights and receive a $175 beach gear credit.*

How Does It Work?

Once you have booked your participating vacation home with us, VayKLife will send you an email with a link to view the available beach gear you can rent. Select the items you want and they will deliver your gear directly to your rental home, and pick-up on the day you depart! (delivery fee may apply)

What is the discounted beach gear offered with my stay?

VayKLife has partnered with Seaside Vacations to provide an incredible added amenity to your upcoming vacation. This exciting program gives you BEACH GEAR CREDIT that may be used to rent popular, top-quality beach gear items like bikes, beach chairs & umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, corn hole, beach carts, skim and boogie boards and more!

 

Select the items you want at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date and we’ll deliver everything for you on the day you are scheduled to check-in and pick everything up on your scheduled check-out day (delivery fee may apply). Just leave your gear clean and where you found it the night before your check-out day (gear pickups start at 6 AM ET), we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I use my Beach Gear credit?

Check your email. You will receive an email from VayKLife in advance of your stay with a custom link to use your Beach Gear Credit.

When can I place my order?

You can place your order up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date without incurring a late fee. Your credit/discount expires at 4 PM ET the day after your scheduled check-in date.

 

Gear is subject to availability and delivery or late fees may apply, so we recommend ordering as soon as you receive your welcome email from VayKLife.

So VayKLife delivers the gear right to my rental property?

Yes! Not only does VayKLife deliver to your rental property, but they pick it up too! No more lugging bulky gear with you. They've got you covered! (a delivery fee may apply)

Do I need to be at the rental property for delivery and pickup?

Nope. VayKLife will drop your gear off and pick it up. They will send you a text message when your gear has been delivered.

Can I get damage protection on my gear?

Yes! “Gear Damage Protection” is just 8.9% of your gear order and is automatically selected for you at checkout.

Do I need to put down a security deposit for the beach gear?

No, but VayKLife will keep a credit card on file for any damaged or lost gear.

Can I order beach gear for delivery the next day?

Yes. Although, orders placed after 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date are subject to a late fee. All orders placed before 2 PM ET the day before check-in will be delivered the next day. If your order is placed after 2 PM ET your gear will be delivered the following day.

What if I need to change my beach gear selections?

No problem! You can make changes up to 4 PM the day after your scheduled check-in date. Please note: Selection changes made up to 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date are free of charge. Selection changes made after 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in date are subject to availability, a late fee and delivery will be made on the next scheduled delivery day.

Is there a delivery fee?

There is a $25 delivery fee for all orders. If orders exceed $60 over the amount of your credit, then the delivery fee is waived and delivery is FREE!

What if I booked my 2022 OBX rental home prior to March 7, 2022? Do I still get a discount?

Yes! Our VayKLife program partnership was launched in March 2022. Any reservations made prior to March 7, 2022 will receive a $50 credit from VayKGear. The leaseholder will receive an email from VayKLife with the discount offer.

Is there a minimum night stay to qualify for the beach gear credit?

Yes - you need to be staying with us for a minimum of 3 nights to qualify for a beach gear credit.
