Family Fishing
The highlight of Avalon Pier is fishing! The daily fee for fishing at the pier is: Adults: $17.50 Child: $6.00 (17 and under). They also offer convenient 3-Day ($45) and 7-Day ($90) passes. Season passes are available for Single ($300) and Couple ($500).
In April, the hours are 6:00 am - 10:00 pm, and 6:00 am - 12:00 am on Fri & Sat nights. During the summer months, hours are 6:00 am - 12:00 am. Starting in October, the pier opens at 6:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm (Sun-Thu) and midnight(Fri/Sat). In December, hours are 10:00 am - 10:00 pm. Always call to double-check if you're not sure!
You can rent poles for $8.00/day and bait is available for purchase.
