Event: Dowdy Park Farmers Market
Date: Every Thursday from June 13 to August 15 from 9 am to 1 pm.
Location: 3005 South Croatan Highway (at Bonnett Street), Nags Head, NC 27959
Vendors: There are roughly fifty (50) different vendors who will have stands, tables, and tents set up throughout the park (see the map above). Items include fresh produce, local meat and seafood, baked goods, other food and beverages, soaps and skincare products, art, jewelry, crafts, pottery, photography, clothing, handbags, home décor & more!
Cost: There is no admittance cost to visit the Farmer’s Market. All item prices are set by individual vendors.
Parking: Dowdy Park has a large designated parking lot on site. Overflow parking can be found at Nags Head Elementary school next to the park.
Restroom Facilities: Dowdy Park has designated restroom facilities on site.

About Dowdy Park
Dowdy Park in Nags Head is located at the site of Joe Dowdy’s Amusement Park which closed in 2005. Purchased by the town of Nags Head in 2013 and following community grants, strategic planning, and a series of construction phases, the area is now a family-friendly 5-acre recreational park. Features include a multi-dimensional playground fit for kids of all ages and abilities, a fitness trail, restroom facilities, botanical elements, plenty of seating, game tables, an amphitheater, and a large lawn area for yoga classes, yard games, and of course, local events like the Farmers Market!
