Join our Club Seaside member, Kitty Hawk Kites, as they partner with the Outer Banks Surfrider Foundation to host another beach cleanup on Saturday, November 14! Beach clean-ups are a great way to get involved with the local community while helping preserve the natural beauty of our pristine beaches here on the Outer Banks!

This event will be a socially distanced event, of course. Participants will be given gloves, trash bags and pickers. (Don’t forget to bring your mask for those moments you can’t socially distance!)

If you’d interested in participating, meet at the Ocean Bay Blvd. Public Beach Access Saturday between 9AM at 3 PM. If you have a favorite spot on the OBX or if you’ve noticed an influx of trash in certain locations lately, you can head to any beach you’d like to clean after you pick up your supplies! The foundation also encourages participants to track the trash on the Marine Debris Tracker app so you can see the progress made!

During check-in, you can also purchase a “Be the Wave of Change” shirt for $25.00. Proceeds go to the Surfrider Foundation organization to protect local beaches.
